Is Move Indy licensed, bonded and insured?

Can Move Indy move me out-of-state?
|
Yes! We provide moving services for long-distance AND local moves.
We can move you anywhere within Indiana and beyond! |
Does Move Indy operate on Sundays?
|
Yes, we do! We can perform your move on a Sunday, subject to availability.
Check with your Move Indy Representative at the time of booking! |
Does Move Indy operate in bad weather?
|
Yes! We will complete your move, even if it's raining!
If we feel a winter storm (i.e. snow) is severe enough to prevent us from operating safely, we will reach out in advance to discuss options. |
Does Move Indy provide moving pads?
|
Yes! Move Indy will provide all necessary pads and stretch wrap.
We will pad & wrap all furniture at no additional charge. If you are moving into your own storage facility, discuss a moving pad rental with your Move Indy Representative. |
Will Move Indy load my UHaul or POD?
|
Yes! You can hire Move Indy to provide load/unload service only.
We can help load or unload UHauls, PODs or other shipping containers. We can also help re-arrange or move heavy furniture within your home! |
Does Move Indy have commercial moving experience?

Yes! Move Indy has experience moving residential AND commercial properties.
We regularly move schools, health facilities, retail stores, laboratories, and offices. |
Is there anything Move Indy will NOT move?
|
For safety purposes, there are a few items we ask customers to move themselves. These items include: liquids (including alcohol & cleaning products), perishable food, house plants, pets, and any form of gas (propane tanks, gas cans, etc. ). Any gas-powered tool/appliance must have the gas tank emptied before the item can be placed on the truck.

Can Move Indy move my valuables?

Move Indy STRONGLY advises customers to move their small, valuable items themselves. (jewelry, money, credit cards, medication, sensitive financial documents, etc.)

Will Move Indy move just 1 or 2 items?
|
Yes! No job is too big or too small!
Move Indy can provide special flat-rate services for moving a small amount of items. Each situation is unique - contact your Move Indy Representative to discuss options! |
Will Move Indy disconnect appliances?
|
Move Indy will NOT disconnect anything attached to a gas line.
Move Indy will disconnect/reconnect water lines from appliances, but the customer must sign a Release of Liability (ROL). |
Can Move Indy disassemble my bed?
|
Yes! Move Indy can disassemble and reassemble most beds*. If you would like this service, please mention it to your Move Indy Representative at the time of the estimate, as additional charges may apply.
*Move Indy does not disassemble/reassemble Sleep Number beds. We recommend contacting the store where you purchased the bed to have them complete this service. |
Are there items Move Indy won't disassemble or reassemble?

Move Indy will NOT disassemble or reassemble trampolines or pool tables.

Can Move Indy move my safe?
|
Yes! Move Indy can move safes. If you have a safe, please let your Move Indy Representative know at the time of the estimate. We need to know the size and approximate weight of the safe.
We can also move gun safes, but all guns and ammunition must be removed prior to transport. |
Can Move Indy move my TVs?
|
Yes! Move Indy can move your TV.
We ask customers to have TVs removed from the wall prior to our arrival. Move Indy will not remove or re-install wall mount TV brackets. We recommend saving your TV box to reuse for moving. If you don't have the original box, Move Indy has other options to safely transport your TV - ask your representative for options! |
