Brownsburg is a great small town just west of Indianapolis. My wife and I have called Brownsburg home for nearly a decade.  We have raised all four of our children in Brownsburg, and what a wonderful place to raise a family!  Brownsburg is also the birthplace of what we affectionately refer to as our 5th child...Move Indy!  Move Indy started in our garage in Brownsburg with nothing more than 40 moving pads, 2 dollies and a dream to build our own business. Today, through much hard work and dedication, we are a thriving, full-service hourly moving company serving Brownsburg and beyond! You can read more about our journey here.​
​ The community in Brownsburg embraced us with open arms.  We felt supported in nearly every way.  We made some early connections with wonderful realtors in the area like Lee Smith and Maria Ridenour. Their willingness to recommend our business to their clients helped lay the foundation for us in Brownsburg.  We are thankful to the many individuals and businesses that have helped support us along the way.  We'd love to "pay it forward" and tell you about a few of our favorite local spots!​

As you can imagine, juggling the responsibilities of raising a family of six while also starting a new business is quite daunting.   Sometimes it's nice (and necessary!) to let someone else do the cooking for you! Luckily, Brownsburg has no shortage of great places to eat!

​You can find us dining out at local spots such as So Italian, Thai District, The Breakfast Company, and Rockstar Pizza...just to name a few!

​And of course, grabbing ice cream at Mandy's Ice Cream is a MUST!

We LOVE working with Mindy at Mindy's Brownsburg Signs!  She has done the logos on our trucks, as well as some additional signage for us. She ALWAYS does a fantastic job!  If you need custom signage or decals, we highly recommend checking her out!
Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park (or IRP for short!) is an auto racing facility in Brownsburg about 10 miles northwest of downtown Indianapolis. It includes a 0.686-mile oval track, a 2.5-mile road course, and a 4,400-foot drag strip which is among the premier drag racing venues in the world. They feature fun and entertaining weekly events. Be sure to check out the awesome summer night events like Wild Wednesdays!  Move Indy recently participated in a Wild Wednesday event with the Greater Brownsburg Chamber of Commerce - and we had an AWESOME time!
We have been blessed to give back to this wonderful community. We created Hunker Down Hoosiers in an effort to help local restaurants, healthcare heroes and firefighters during the pandemic.  We were grateful to be able to do something small to help those who were giving so much!
We have also put on a Haunted Truck for the past 3 years for our entire neighborhood in Brownsburg.​  It is so fun to see the joy and excitement on the kids' faces as they get to enjoy the truck and get some candy!  It is always a big hit, and the adults have a lot of fun putting it together!
